ChatPatrimoineAcadien

ChatPatrimoineAcadien extends the ChatAcadien to archival images. Vision-Language Models generate textual descriptions of historical photographs and metadata provided by the CEAAC (Centre d'études acadiennes Anselme-Chiasson), which are then embedded and indexed in Pinecone for semantic search. Users can search the archive with natural language queries and receive the most relevant images alongside the generated descriptions. The stack uses Cloudflare R2 for image storage, Streamlit for the frontend, and Docker with GitHub Actions for deployment.
